STICKY GLAZED BONE IN PORK CHOPS WITH SESAME CHINESE BROCCOLI
June 28, 2017 – Sticky Glazed Bone-In Pork Chops with Sesame Chinese Broccoli
A great meal with another new veggie we have never tried before! For this super simple recipe, you sear the pork chops first, then set them aside on a plate. Then, in the same pan, you saute the veggies, then set them aside to finish the pork chops. Make the glaze in the same pan, add the pork chops and cook a couple of minutes longer. Less than 15 minutes for the whole meal…and the flavors are awesome. The sticky glaze is made with soy sauce and sweet chili sauce so it has a bit of sweet, a bit of hot and a bit of saltiness. It gives the chops a real flavor boost. The veggies were very good as well….sauteed with sesame oil for an added pop of Asian flavor. I have never had Chinese broccoli before, but it was really tasty. More like some sort of greens than broccoli, but it was perfect with the carrots and green onions. I added corn as an extra side with this meal….
Salty kisses and sandy hugs! xoxo – Michele
